Midnight fog.
Returned from the mountains with some new understanding of the late summer evening light here in Iceland. As darkness reigns over the land for just a brief moment, the temperature falls and you get that first bite of winter through your hands. Thick fog covers the land, moving swiftly as it adapts to the shape of the mountain ridges.
